Jameson Stout Edition Irish Whiskey 700ml

Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is a distinctive triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey finished in oak barrels previously seasoned with Irish craft stout. This innovative cask finish brings together Jameson’s signature smoothness with additional layers of cocoa, chocolate, roasted malt and subtle hops.  

The nose opens with freshly cut hay, crisp green apple and pear, lime zest and gentle pot-still spice, developing into hazelnut and milk chocolate. On the palate, Jameson’s familiar soft sweetness is complemented by cocoa beans and a subtle hoppy character from the stout-seasoned casks. The finish is long and sweet, with lingering milk chocolate and butterscotch.  

An approachable yet characterful Irish whiskey, it works particularly well neat, over ice, with soda, or in an Irish Espresso Martini where its chocolate and roasted notes really stand out.
