Main Divide is the local name for the Southern Alps and is the backbone of the South Island, where grapes for Main Divide are exclusively sourced. Vineyards have been selected for their quality and ability to express unique regional flavours

Tasting Note

The wine presents a lemon straw hue, with a bouquet that is both rich and satisfying. Aromas of orchard fruits are framed by delicate oak, vanilla, and hazelnut, complemented by subtle floral notes of acacia and daphne. On the palate, it delivers a creamy, satin-textured mouthfeel, balanced by a contrasting acid line and a nutty-biscuity quality, culminating in a long and juicy finish.

Food Pairing

This Chardonnay's complexity and structure make it an excellent match for a variety of dishes. It pairs beautifully with white meats such as roast chicken or pork, as well as seafood dishes like fish pie. Its rich texture also complements creamy risottos and dishes featuring roasted vegetables.
