Hand-harvested from Pinot Gris and Chardonnay fruit, Mission Fete is pressed very gently in a traditional manner.  It is then partially barreling fermented and aged for over a year.  Using the Charmat process it is then fermented for a month in a pressure tank then bottled.  The result is that it delivers a delicate wine with aromas of pear and apple.  The palate is fresh and clean with citrus and hints of freshly baked bread.

Tasting Notes

The wine is perfumed showing a delicate pear aroma and soft creamy characteristics. The mousse is fine and very persistent. The mouthfeel is clean with nice freshness across the palate showing fresh bread, apple, pear, citrus, cream and nutty flavours.
