This Batch Strength release of Peat's Beast has been matured for nine months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, creating a layer of fruity spice amid the waves of rich peat smoke on the nose. The palate offers notes of dates, figs, seaweed, black pepper, burnt bracken and vanilla that linger in the finish.

Nose - A rhapsody of enticing aromas are immediately apparent as rich nuances of orchard fruits, candied orange peel, maraschino cherries and Christollen cake drenched in Aged Oloroso sherry make their presence felt. This is the true class in a glass that has taken years to perfect therefore give it all the reverence it richly deserves - time is the key to its heart and every beat will unfold even more rewards of treacle cake, frangipan, soft chewy liquorice and baked banana bread
