Angel Flower Pinot Noir 2019 - 96 Points

Dizzying aromatics swell from the glass: indurate spice – clove, cumin, caraway, cassia; ripe and bright red fruit – raspberry, redcurrant, Morello cherry. Quite a head-spinning, aromatic ride. Soft silky texture the wine glides across the palate with vibrant flavours of red fruit, and a saline spicy complexity. A pure vibrant expression of Angel Flower.

"The 2019 Pinot Noir Angel Flower is gorgeous in its seamless texture and sense of ease. This is a Pinot that will make you sigh in satisfaction and relax your tense shoulders. There are herbal notes, orange skin, cranberry fruit and paprika-smoked charcuterie in this fresh, aromatic expression, and excellent concentration thanks to the naturally low yields. The tannins coat the palate with a fine chalky texture, providing a sense of structure on the long, fragrant finish. Note that the Angel Flower typically has a slightly higher pH than the winery's other Pinot Noirs, so you should expect it to be the least clear in terms of clarity of appearance. Unadulterated, site-driven Pinot Noir." - Rebecca Gibb, Vinous

Lion’s Tooth Chardonnay 2019 -  97 Points

Youthfully closed at first pour but opening to a powerful flinty mineral complexity, toasted brioche, grilled hazelnuts with subtle ripe yellow stone fruits. Broad shoulders with a rich, chalky, mouth-filling texture that is flowing and long. Ripe yellow stone fruits, hints of almonds and hazelnuts. A salty and salivating wine that marries power and elegance.

"Taut, nervy chardonnay with citrus, grapefruit, green apple, saline, oyster-shell, ginger, baguette crust and green apple. You can practically taste the vineyard's limestone-rich soils. A high-energy wine showing a strong sense of place and with the ability to develop well with bottle age." - Bob Campbell MW

North Canterbury Chardonnay 2019

Slightly hazy, unfiltered appearance with a golden lemon hue. Complex
mineral nose with hazelnut, grilled almond notes supported by ripe stone
fruits, citrus fruits and an underlying salinity.

North Canterbury Pinot Noir 2019 - 95 Points

"Enticing and layered aromatics of Pinot Noir centering on aromas of cherry and preserved apple, baking spices and old roses, a earthy contextual earthy core enhanced with oak. Tense, poised, youthful, complex and dry on the palate. Flavours of red berries and rose, oak spices and earthy qualities, a natural synergy. Fine to firm tannins and medium+ acidity. Youthful yet balanced, lengthy and complex. Drinking well now and through 2023+." - Cameron Douglas, MS

Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018 - 94 Points

"It's lightweight but not without substance or layers. Gentle berry notes mingle with savory, mushroom and soy sauce nuances. It really comes to life on the palate, which is both vivacious and structured, the chalky tannins and crunchy acidity jiving with juicy, silky fruit. Elegant, poised and highly drinkable. Drink now and over the next five to eight years." - Christina Pickard, Wine Enthusiast
