Bodegas Valdemar is a family company whose roots date back to 1889, and whose Riojas has long been a reference point for the DO. Despite this their approach is very much forward-looking; having pioneered many techniques in the region, from barrel fermentation and temperature control to saignée-method rosado, their style tends towards the modern. Grape 85% Tempranillo, 7% Mazuelo, 6% Graciano, 2% Garnacha.

TASTING NOTES
This wine displays an attractive and intense red ruby color, clean and bright. Intense and complex aromas of concentrated black fruit. Hints of coffee, black licorice, truffle, and balsamic notes of eucalyptus. Elegant, smooth, and tasty, with a strong personality and a very long aftertaste.
