Description
Aroma - Aromas of berry fruits, clove and aniseed spices create a perfumed aromatic blend. A supple wine with elegant structure and finely rounded tannins.
Winemaking
Hand picked and fermented naturally in open vats. Aged in French oak barrels for 11 months prior to final blending.
Vintage notes
2019 was a very dry and warm growing season that brought small yields with great fruit concentration.
Vineyard
Johnson Vineyard - Top terraces with clay/slit loam lenses over free draining alluvium.
Outpost Vineyard - Windblown clay/loess over clay-bound glacial gravel. Direct north facing aspect, on steep hillside slopes.
