Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask 700ml

Tamnavulin Distillery has had a Red Wine Cask Edition series for a few years now. The single malt whiskey in this series is finished in red wine casks. For this edition, it was Spanish Garnacha barrels. The first maturation was in 40% ex-bourbon casks. On the southern tip of Speyside, in the foothills of the Cairngorm mountains, is the Tamnavulin distillery. Tucked away on the banks of the River Livet, Tamnavulin's small group of skilled artisans create a classic Speyside whiskey.

TASTING NOTES

Mahogany gold. A barrage of flavours starts with white chocolate and red berries, followed by caramelized apple, peach and coffee. Persistent and elegant – a portrait of freshness.
