Wirra Wirra Catapult Shiraz 750ml

The late Gregg Trott saw many of his unusual dreams realised at Wirra Wirra. Yet one vision eluded him – to build a medieval siege machine, or trebuchet. Why? To use as a catapult to bomb neighbouring wineries with bottles of wine, of course! Classic McLaren Vale Shiraz is blended with a touch of Viognier, just for something different – just like Trotty.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: Deep black plum core with a vibrant mulberry rim.
Aroma: Aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, and mulberries, complemented by hints of five-spice and pepper.
Palate: Generous fruit-forward flavors of plums, cassis, and milk chocolate, layered with vanilla bean, cedar, and graphite nuances. The finish is marked by fine, powdery tannins.
