About Chianti
Chianti is Italy's most famous red wine, from the hills of Tuscany between Florence and Siena. It is made mainly from the Sangiovese grape and is medium bodied, with sour cherry, red plum, dried herbs and savoury acidity.
Chianti and Chianti Classico
Chianti Classico comes from the original heartland of the region and carries the black rooster symbol. Riserva wines are aged longer for more depth.
Food Pairing
Chianti is made for food. Enjoy it with pizza, pasta with tomato sauce, lasagne, grilled meats and hard Italian cheeses.
