Auchentoshan 12 Year Old is a classic Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, renowned for Auchentoshan’s distinctive triple-distillation process, which creates an exceptionally smooth, light and approachable style. The current expression is double matured in ex-Bourbon American oak and Spanish Oloroso sherry oak casks. 

The nose is fresh and elegant, offering sweet pastry, citrus, nuts and leafy notes. On the palate, smooth vanilla sweetness combines with hazelnut, tangerine and lime, while the oak maturation adds gentle richness and structure. The finish is slightly dry with ginger and lingering nuttiness. 

Its lighter Lowland character and triple-distilled smoothness make Auchentoshan 12YO an excellent introduction to single malt Scotch, while still offering enough complexity for experienced whisky drinkers.
