Isle Of Jura The Loch Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

The Loch is part of a series launched by the Jura distillery originally for the travel retail market. This expression is initially matured in American oak barrels before completion in barrels that previously contained sherry Pedro Ximénez for 30 years. Pedro Ximenez barrels add a strong sweetness, but here are very delicate and light.

TASTING NOTES:
Colour: Dark amber.
Aroma: The nose is sweet with cocoa, chocolate, perfume, dried fruits, spices, plum jam and caramel notes.

Taste: The palate is soft, dry, with a very slight sweetness and hints of dried fruit, spices and very light smoke. The finish is medium, spicy and sweet with spices, pepper, chocolate and hints of light smoke.

Alc: 44.5%
