About Sato
Sato Wines is a small Central Otago producer run by Yoshiaki and Kyoko Sato, who left careers in Japan to make wine in New Zealand. Their own organic vineyard, La Ferme de Sato in Pisa, is farmed by hand, and the wines are made with minimal intervention.
The Sato Range
The La Ferme de Sato wines come from the couple's own vineyard and are pure, expressive and textural. Les Violettes and Sur Les Nuages are perfumed Pinot Noirs, Schisteux is a mineral Chenin Blanc grown on schist, and the Bannockburn Pinot Noir is made from grower fruit.
