The Balvenie 15 Year Old Madeira Cask is an elegant and fruit-forward Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, showcasing The Balvenie's renowned expertise in cask finishing.

Matured for 15 years in traditional American oak casks before being finished in casks that previously held Madeira wine, this expression combines The Balvenie's signature honeyed character with vibrant layers of ripe fruit, citrus and warming spice.

The nose opens with rich blackcurrants and brambles layered over sweet ginger syrup and delicate spice. On the palate, fresh peach and ripe fruit are lifted by a bright orange citrus note, followed by roasted hazelnuts and crisp oak.

Rich yet lively, the Madeira cask influence brings additional fruit and complexity while retaining the smooth, honeyed character for which The Balvenie is known. The finish is long, warming and beautifully balanced.
