Cointreau Citrus Series – Corsican Pomelo Distillate is the first release in an innovative limited-edition collection created by Cointreau Master Distiller Carole Quinton to explore the extraordinary diversity of citrus fruits.

For Opus #1, Cointreau selected Pomelo (Citrus paradisi) grown on a single estate in the Aléria Plain of Corsica, an exceptional Mediterranean terroir known for producing beautifully aromatic citrus fruit.

Fresh pomelo peels are carefully macerated and distilled using traditional copper column stills, capturing the fruit's vibrant freshness and distinctive bittersweet character.

The nose bursts with fresh grapefruit, bitter orange, mint, pepper, orange zest and lemon zest. On the palate, powerful grapefruit and bitter orange flavours are complemented by peppery freshness and a refined touch of bitterness.

Created especially for cocktail making, Cointreau Citrus Series can be enjoyed as a clear citrus spirit or used to add fresh pomelo character to Margaritas, Sours, Martinis and creative long drinks.
