A premium single-site 100% Syrah from E. Guigal, Saint-Joseph Lieu-Dit Rouge comes from steep vineyards on gneiss soils with granite veins in the historic “Saint-Joseph” lieu-dit. The vines average around 50 years old, giving the wine impressive concentration and depth.  

The 2023 vintage delivers intense aromas of cassis, blueberry and black fruits, layered with violet, black pepper, graphite and subtle oak. Medium to full-bodied, the palate combines impressive power with freshness, fine-grained tannins and excellent balance, leading into a long, persistent finish
