Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 3 Single Malt 64.1% 700ml

Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 3 is a powerful Orkney Single Malt bottled at its natural 64.1% ABV, without dilution to a standard bottling strength. Released in 2022, Release No. 3 was created by Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion with a higher proportion of Orkney peated malt than the previous releases, making it the smokiest release in the Cask Strength series at that time.

The whisky is matured in a combination of first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak and European oak casks, together with a smaller proportion of refill casks for balance and complexity. It is bottled non-chill filtered, allowing the whisky's full texture, smoke and cask character to shine through.

The nose opens with smouldering peat and lightly charred oak, balanced by honey-glazed lemon and crushed aniseed. On the palate, layers of ripe mango, heather honey and whipped vanilla cream emerge alongside aromatic violet and warming smoke.
