Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine Clos du Four 2021 is a distinctive single-vineyard Chardonnay from the Mâconnais, produced by the domaine founded by legendary Meursault winemaker Dominique Lafon.

Crafted from 100% Chardonnay, Clos du Four is regarded as one of the domaine's most important Mâconnais vineyard sites. Its elevated position and cool microclimate proved particularly advantageous in the challenging 2021 vintage, allowing the vineyard to largely escape the severe spring frost that dramatically reduced yields throughout Burgundy.

The wine opens with an elegant and focused bouquet of green apple, ripe citrus and peach skin, accompanied by attractive flinty, stony and lightly reductive mineral notes.

On the palate, it is beautifully balanced and harmonious, with generous white fruit and ripe citrus supported by fine acidity. A subtle creamy richness adds texture, while the vineyard's mineral character provides freshness, precision and tension.
