Père Magloire VSOP is a classic Calvados Pays d’Auge produced in Normandy, France by a house whose history dates back to 1821. It is made exclusively from cider apples harvested in the Pays d’Auge, a protected terroir representing only a small part of Normandy.  

Following the traditional Pays d’Auge method, the cider is double distilled in copper pot stills, producing a Calvados with greater richness, aromatic complexity and length. The style beautifully combines fresh and mature apple character with floral notes and gentle oak-derived sweetness.  

The nose reveals apple blossom, jasmine, white rose, ripe apple and apricot. On the palate, notes of honey, vanilla and butterscotch are complemented by light oak, hazelnut and almond. The finish is long and warming, with candied apple, vanilla and cinnamon.
