Pere Magloire XO is a premium Calvados Pays d’Auge from Normandy, France, produced by the historic Père Magloire house, founded in 1821. Made from carefully selected cider apples from the Pays d’Auge, it showcases a mature, complex style of traditional Normandy apple brandy.

Produced according to the requirements of the Calvados Pays d’Auge AOC, the cider undergoes double distillation in traditional copper pot stills before extended maturation in oak casks. The XO ageing develops greater depth and richness while retaining the fresh apple character at the heart of Calvados.

The nose is rich and expressive with ripe apple, dried fruit, vanilla and warm spice, complemented by mature oak. The palate is smooth and rounded, revealing baked apple, caramel, dried fruit, cinnamon and toasted nuts, followed by a long, warming finish with lingering fruit and oak.
