Ron Zacapa Centenario 23yo 700ml
Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 Solera Gran Reserva is a blend made from various rums, which are between 6 and 23 years old. The premium brand behind it has been in business since 1976 and therefore accumulated a tremendous amount of experience when it comes to applying the right techniques for aging and blending their rums. The rum is aged using the solera process, which is usually used for premium Sherries and gives the product its distinct and versatile flavour. Another factor that is responsible for granting the rum its stellar flavour is the fact that it is aged at a height of approximately 7500 feet. The Beverage Testing Institute awarded this 98 points!
Tasting Note:
Nose: Very sweet and nutty, honey and chocolate. Dark brown sugar, gentle smoke. Pipe tobacco.
Palate: Very sweet and soft. Dark brown sugar, molasses, rounded, so gentle!
Finish: Thick, medium length, hint of smoke on the tail.
Alc: 40%
