About Laphroaig

Laphroaig was founded in 1815 on the south coast of Islay. It still malts some of its own barley on traditional floor maltings, dried over Islay peat, which gives Laphroaig its famously bold, medicinal and smoky character.

The Laphroaig Range

Laphroaig 10 is the classic, with intense peat smoke, seaweed and a hint of sweetness. Quarter Cask is matured in small casks for extra oak and depth, Lore blends whiskies from a range of casks, and PX Cask and Four Oak explore different cask finishes. The 25 and 27 Year Old are rare, complex releases.
