Laphroaig Four Oak Single Malt 1L

Laphroaig Four Oak is a no-age-statement single malt built from four different cask types matured side by side: ex-bourbon barrels, small quarter casks, virgin American oak barrels, and larger European oak hogsheads. That cask diversity gives it more sweetness and structure than Laphroaig's standard 10 Year Old, while keeping the distillery's unmistakable medicinal, peat-smoke Islay character front and centre.

On the nose: roasted coffee beans, almond pastries, sawdust, and medicinal peat smoke. The palate opens with an intense wave of smoke, followed by earthy vanilla pod and subtle cookie dough sweetness. The finish is drying, spicy, and long. Originally created for the travel retail market, Four Oak has picked up silver medals at both the International Wine & Spirit Competition (2017) and the Asian Spirits Masters (2018).

Bottled in a generous 1 litre format, this is genuine peated Islay malt at everyday-dram value — sandalwood, pine, and fir wrapped around Laphroaig's signature smoke.
