Zacapa 23 La Passion Heavenly Cask 700ml

Zacapa La Pasión is a luxurious limited-edition release from the acclaimed Heavenly Cask Collection, created to showcase the rich influence of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks used in the ageing of Zacapa 23.

Crafted in Guatemala under the direction of Master Blender Lorena Vásquez, La Pasión begins with a blend of rums aged between 6 and 23 years, matured using Zacapa's renowned Solera system. The blend receives additional maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, developing an exceptionally rich, sweet and fruit-driven character.  

The nose is generous and aromatic, revealing vanilla, chocolate and dried fruits. On the palate, layers of dried plum, raisins, dates and coffee combine with the characteristic sweetness of the PX cask influence, creating a smooth, full-bodied and indulgent rum. 

Best enjoyed neat or over a large cube of ice, Zacapa La Pasión is an excellent choice for collectors and drinkers looking for a richer expression of the classic Zacapa style.
